Analyse data from the first contact.
Please note the definition of first contact may change depending on the filters you select. For example, if you chose to include attended contacts only, the report will automatically pick up the first attended contact as the first contact, otherwise, the first contact could be a DNAed contact.
Attended First sessions
The example below, shows filters querying first session being between 1/1/25 and 30/6/25 for sessions that were Attended Appointment and Arrived late, but was seen.


First Session grouped by attendance & Appointment Purpose
To view first sessions grouped by attendance.
- Click on the Mandatory filters (top of green column) and enter the dates in which you wish the first session to be considered.
- Under Additional filter select MDS only.
- Group by Clinical session – Attendance and Appointment Purpose.
Report will show number of first appointments broken down by attendance (including DNA’s) and Purpose.


Scores and Caseness at start of treatment
This report shows the scores recorded against each referral’s first session. This report is useful for seeing if patient were below caseness at the start of treatment or had a high caseness score.
- Click on the mandatory filters (top of green column) and enter the dates in which you wish the first session to be considered.
- Under Additional Filters select MDS only.
- Click on Attendance within clinical session filter and select the attended options.
- Click on the Appointment Purpose within Clinical Session Filters and select those options mapping to treatment.
- Group by Clinical Session Score – PHQ9
This report will show the number of referrals against each PHQ9 score so you can identify the patients below caseness etc. This report can be used for GAD7 etc.
