Check the the referral is active, and that the referral equals the treatment type of the group for example an IAPT Group will only except IAPT referrals unless its been switched off by your Account Manager
Data about the employment status is submitted in the IDS004EmpStatus table. Data about employment support contacts is submitted in the IDS201CareContact table and the IDS202CareActivity table. All of these reports can be found in the National reports app.
It is expected that an employment support referral may well continue for some time after a Talking Therapies (IAPT) referral has been discharged. As long as the appointment purpose used for each of the contacts has been mapped to the correct code (10) for Employment Support, these contacts will continue
In iaptus, we have the option to rename Treatment Types. By doing so, the Episodes would still be categorised as IAPT, and you would retain the same functionality of having two separate Episodes. This would allow users to easily distinguish between IAPT and EA when creating referrals, thus enhancing clarity within a single patient record.
Your Account Manager can assist with renaming a Treatment Type. However, keep in mind that renaming a Treatment Type will affect all past and current referrals associated with it. Therefore, if you prefer to maintain historical data, it might be better to request an additional Treatment Type instead.
If the therapist on the Treatment episode is the referring one, then you can run the Referral Count in Hypercube.
Filters to apply:

Both configurations, either a single episode or dual episodes, will allow you to record and report on the Employment data correctly. The option your service chooses will need to support your workflow and processes.
The workbook is called ‘IAPT MDM v2 EA’ and is available from the Reporting section in iaptus under the ‘Dashboards’ tab. The workbook contains all the measures included in the NHSE Monthly Data Measures reports.
NHS England expects that a single Employment Referral Date is provided for each Talking Therapies (IAPT) episode of care. The iaptus system follows this workflow, ensuring that your reporting data is accepted for submissions. If you find that your service differs from this expectation, please bring it to the attention of the DWP and NHSE. When the rules change, iaptus will be updated accordingly.
